Layton served as co-director with Doug Forrest on this TV pilot called Planet Camp. The show was a co-production of Planet Camp LLC and Inferno Films. Music written and performed by Doug Forrest and Derrick Procell. Puppets by Monkey Boys Productions. Patricia Tarantula played by Patricia Vonne. Layton was also director of photography. Planet Camp, an educational children’s television series, combining Muppetry, live action sketches, and animation to creatively teach and entertain 5-7 year olds eco-awareness life skills and outdoor fun through music and comedy.
